Wanting to Make a Difference

Meet Dr. RunnelsSteve Runnels, D.C. worked in a steel foundry for a couple of years before realizing that a job, he was easily replaceable at, wasn’t what he wanted to do with his life. “My parents and grandparents always told me that if I didn’t want to have to work a day in my life, I should find a profession that incorporated my joys”.

A lifelong interest in weight lifting, sports and nutrition led him to investigate areas like kinesiology and physical therapy. At this time he recalled seeing a chiropractor for a knee injury from wrestling. Chiropractic allowed him to help people stay active using his hands and his mind.

To achieve his Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Runnels attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. While there, he was involved in athletics and learned how to restore people’s range of motion so they could function and not have to give up the sports they love to participate in.

Since that time, he’s taken numerous continuing education courses on topics such as meridian therapy and extremity adjusting.
